Drug resistance in gram negative bacterial pathogens is an emerging public health threat.
Our work focuses on characterizing the genetics of drug resistance in GNB pathogens.
We aim to identify every drug-resistance gene in saprophytes in food that can enter pathogens.
We are also characterizing drug-resistance genes in GNB pathogens obtained from clinical sources all over the world.
