Analyzed foodborne norovirus outbreaks in Zhejiang province and developed extracting methods for the detection of G I and G II noroviruses in shellfishes, meat, fruits, vegetables and some salad foods; Research on viral-bacterial interactions: the effect of fresh produces commensal bacteria on the norovirus biological characteristics.
Research on antimicrobial drug (ARGs) found in food microbiota, and mechanisms of acquisition of these genes by certain lineages of Gram negative bacteria that cause human infections.
